BMW ABS Electric Pump Drive - Used
This relay plugs directly into the ABS/ASC+T pump.

BMW ABS Over-Voltage Protection - Used
Located in the fuse box, this relay controls power to the ABS pump.

BMW ABS Timing and Valve Mechanism - Used
This relay plugs directly into the ABS/ASC+T pump.

BMW Air Conditioning Heater Blower Select - Used
Found on the climate case. This relay controls the power to the climate case.

BMW Alarm Horn - Used
This relay controls power to the factory alarm horn.

BMW Aux Battery - Used
For cars with 2 batteries. This relay controls power flow to and from the additional battery.

BMW Aux Fan High Speed - Used
Locaed in or around the outside of the fuse box, this relay controls power to the auxillary fan on the a/c condensor.

BMW Aux Fan Low Speed - Used
Locaed in or around the outside of the fuse box, this relay controls power to the auxillary fan on the a/c condensor.

BMW Aux Water Pump - Used
Found in the fuse box, this relay controls power to the Auxillary water pump.

BMW Central Locking - Used
Usually located in the passengers side kick panel, behind the speaker. Controls the different door lock actuators. Also controls the trunk and fuel door actuators.

BMW Change-Over - Used
The change over relay controls power during start up. Usually located on the firewall.

BMW Cold Start - Used
Controls power to the cold start valve.

BMW Combination - Used
Metal relay located on the fire wall. Controls more that one function at start up.

BMW Comfort - Used
This relay controls the windows and the lights after the car is turned off but before the drivers door is locked.

BMW Compressor Control - Used
A/C compressor control relay. Controls power to A/C compressor.

BMW Crash Control - Used
This relay pops all door locks open and shuts of the fuel pump in the event of an accident. Has an inertia switch that pops on impact. Location varies on model.

BMW D.M.E. Relay - Used
This is the power relay that controls power to the inection brain. Usually found near the injection brain.

BMW Day Light Driving - Used
Located in fuse box. Controls power to the headlights for day light driving lights.

BMW Door Lock Control - Used
This is the relay that all the locks, so if you lock or unlock the car all the locks do the same thing.

BMW Fog Light - Used
Located in the fuse box, this relay controls power to the foglights.

BMW Fresh / Recirculating Air - Used
Relay that controls the flaps on the climate case.

BMW Front Washer Pump - Used
Relay for the windsheild washer pump.

BMW Fuel Injection - Used
Located near fuse box. Black box with 5 prongs. Powers up fuel injection system.

BMW Fuel Pump - Used
Fuel pump relays always have a green and purple wire going to it. Usually located outside of the fuse box.

BMW Glow Plug - Used
On left front wheel well. Controls power to the glow plugs.

BMW Heater Blower Select - Used
Controls power to the climate fan.

BMW High Beam - Used
Located inside the fuse box. Controls power to the high beam light bulbs.

BMW Horn - Used
Controls power to the horns.

BMW Kick Down Prevent - Used
Controls power to the horns.

BMW Light Timer - Used
This is the relay that controls the length of time the interior dome lights stay on when entering or leaving the vehicle.

BMW Low Beam - Used
Located in the fuse box. This relay controls power to the low beam headlights.

BMW Low Beam Check - Used
Located in the fuse box. This relay controls power to the low beam headlights.

BMW Main - Used
The main relay is usually located on the fire wall.

BMW Module (RM) - Used
This is the "RM" module found under the back seat. It has 2 plug connectors, one black and one white. Controls central locking among other duties.

BMW Module Anti-Theft - Used
This relay module is black with a green plug receptacle. It controls the alarm function in the OBC.

BMW Module Catalytic Converter - Used
This relay module is for OBD II cars. These cars have O2 sensors before and after the catalytic converter.

BMW Module Check Control - Used
This is the realy that checks all the light bulbs and diplays on the check control panel which ones are bad.

BMW Module Contact Pressure - Used
This relay module controls the windsheild wiper pressure on the front windsheild.

BMW Module Convertable Top - Used
This brain controls the top function on a convertable. It is ties into all the switches and sensors on the top. Semi automatic top = Must be latched/unlatched by driver then is folded down electronically Fully automatic top = 1 button unlocks and folds down top

BMW Module Diagnostic - Used
This relay module stores fault codes.

BMW Module Dynamic Drive - Used
This relay is the brain for the dynamic drive.

BMW Module EDC - Used
This is the relay box that reads the EDC shocks and struts.

BMW Module EWS / CAS - Used
The EWS controls the signal from the key to the injection system. If the key doesn't match the stored code in the EWS brain the car will not start. The factory codes 6 keys to the brain. No more keys may be coded after that. If you lose all 6 keys, you must buy a new EWS brain the antenna reciever relay and the new keys from BMW AG. `

BMW Module Footwell - Used
Module that controls the Lights, factory alarm and passive access.

BMW Module General (GM) - Used
This is the "GM" module. About 8" long. Also refered to as the Body Control Module or Basic Module. This unit has replaced alot of the indiviual realys that earlier cars had.

BMW Module Infrared Locking - Used
This relay module is a part of the alarm system. It reads the signal from the alarm remote control.

BMW Module Junction Box - Used
This relay module is a part of the alarm system. It reads the signal from the alarm remote control.

BMW Module LKM - Used
This is the relay module that controls all the lights. It is located under the hood, in the left side fuse box. It will be the large black relay box closest to the fender.

BMW Module Load Level Control - Used
This is the relay module that controls the power to the load leveling system.

BMW Module Micro Power - Used
The micro power module control the stereo/navigation system.

BMW Module Parking Distance Control (PDC) - Used
Control unit for parking distance control.

BMW Module SRS Diagnostic - Used
This is the brain that checks the servicability of the SRS system.

BMW Module Seat / Mirror Memory - Used
This is the brain or relay located under the drivers seat. The purpose of the unit is to control seat position and, on later cars, outside mirror position inconjuction with the seat memory switch.

BMW Module Seat Belt Control - Used
This relay module detects if the seat belt for the driver is being used. It controls the Fasten Seat Belt Display.

BMW Module Steering Column Control - Used
This relay module controls steering column mobilaty functions. It is also tiesd into the memory function to move the steering column for each driver.

BMW Module Steering Wheel Multi Function - Used
This is the relay module that interprets the input from the steering wheel buttons.

BMW Module Sunroof Motor - Used
Controls the double sliding roof found in the E34 wagons.

BMW Module Sunshade Rear - Used
This is the relay module that controls the rear sunshade in the package tray.

BMW Module Trailer Control - Used
This is a relay module for those BMW's with a factory installed trailer hitch.

BMW Module Wheel Camber - Used
Relay module that detects wheel camber.

BMW O2 Sensor Heater - Used
This relay controls power to the O2 sensor that heats it up to operating temperature faster for better emissions.

BMW On Board Computer - Used
This relay controls power to the on board computer.

BMW Over Voltage - Used
This relay is for the charging system. It controls power from the alternator to the battery.

BMW Parking Light Monitor - Used
This relay controls the parking lights. Once the car is shut off and the drivers exists, it keeps the parking lights on for a length of time and then shuts them off to kepp the batterey from going dead.

BMW Phone - Used
This relay controls power to the phone system in those cars wtih a factory installed phone system.

BMW Power Window - Used
This relay controls power to the electric window motors.

BMW Purge Valve - Used
Relay that controls power to the purge valve.

BMW Rear Head Rest Control - Used
Relay that controls power to the rear head rests.

BMW Rear Window Defogger - Used
Realy that controls power to the rear window defrost strips.

BMW Seat Belt Buzzer - Used
Relay and buzzer that signals when the seat belts are not being used.

BMW Seat Belt Warning Timer - Used
Relay that signals when the seat belts are not being used. Controls fasten seat belt light on dashboard

BMW Seat Heater - Used
Realy for cars with hated seats. Controls power to heating elements.

BMW Seat Rear Control - Used
Relay for cars with power rear seats. Controls power to the rear seats.

BMW Smog Speed Switch - Used
Gray box located on fire wall. Reads sensors in the intake manifold.

BMW Starter - Used
Controls power to the engine starter.

BMW Sunroof Motor - Used
Located in the roof. Controls power to the sunroof motor.

BMW Turn Signal / Hazard - Used
Relay that controls turn signals and hazard lights.

BMW Unloader - Used
Found in the fuse box.

BMW Wiper Control - Used
Found in the fuse box. Controls windshield wipers and wiper speed.

BMW Wiper Pressure Control - Used
This realy controls the wiper pressure motor.

BMW Wiper Washer Pump - Used
This relay controls powe rto the wiper water pump.
