BMW Head Pipe - Used
This is the head pipe only. If there is a catalytic converter welded to this it will be removed and only the pipe section will be sold. |

BMW Head Pipe Bracket - Used
This is the bracket that usually bolts to the rear of transmission and supports the head pipe. |

BMW Manifold / Header - Used
The exhaust manifold / header allows extreme heat and exhaust gases to be directed away from the engine bay. |

BMW Manifold Heatsheild - Used
This is the protective piece of metal the mounts above the exhaust manifold or thermal reactor. It reduces the amount of heat that reaches vital engine parts. |

BMW Muffler Assembly - Used
Located at the end of the exhaust system. Reduces the sound of the engine. BMW Mufflers are usually a part of an assembly that includes a length of pipe that bolts to the head pipe. In most cases the muffler is available both ways: Muffler Only which must be welded in place or Assembly with the pipe which bolts in place. |

BMW Resonator - Used
Large tube in center of muffler system used to create back pressure. Can be welded in place or bolted in. |

BMW Tension Spring - Used
Used with exhaust manilfold studs to secure head pipes in place. |

BMW Thermal Reactor - Used
The thermal reactor is a exhaust manifold made of stainless steel rather than cast iron. The purpose of the termal reactor is to better allow the burning of exhaust gases by air injection. This was an early form of catalytic converter. |

BMW Turbo Charger - Used
Mechanical device used to force more air into the combustion chamber. A turbo charger uses exhaust gas to spin the impellor wheels, forcing more air into the intake. More air allows for more fuel which allows for a greater explosion in the combustion chamber. Turbochargers give more horsepower but reduce engine life. Turbos should only be used on engines that are design to handle them. |

BMW Wastegate / Pop-Off Valve - Used
Used in conjuction with a turbo charger. This valve controls how much forced air goes into the intake manifold. |
