BMW Axle Nut Rear - Used This is the castle nut that holds the axle and the flange together. |

BMW Axle Shaft - Used Located at the rear of the car, the axle shaft transfers power from the differential to the wheels. 2 axle shafts per car due to the independent rear suspension. |

BMW Differential - Used Located in the rear of the car, the differential transfers the power fron the engine to the wheels.

BMW Differential Case - Used This is the outside case for the differential. The gears are located inside this. Does not in clude rear cover. |

BMW Differential Rear Mount - Used This is the large rubber mount that bolts to the bottom of the car. The rear cover mount also bolts to this piece.
For some models this is the rubber ring pressed into the rear differential cover. |

BMW Differential Support Bracket - Used Cars with Y-style and Z-style suspension use multiple brackets to mount the rear differential to the subframe. |

BMW Hub / Kingpin Front - Used The front hub is located on the front strut assy. This part is what the wheel bolt to. Most cars after 1983 have the bearing as a part of the hub. Cars before 1983 will have the bearings seperate from the hub.
The king pin is the lower section of the strut. The brake caliper and the hub attach to the king pin. |
