| These are the dashpots located somewhere in the engine bay, sometimes on the fire wall, sometimes on the fender well. The valve(s) will have colored vacuum lines running to them. When there is more than one valve the valve will be color coded.
The purpose of these valve is to allow vacuum to diferent pieces of smog equipment at various times. The electro valves are controled by the Smog Speed Switch Relay. |
